Baseball Recap: Key Obezags vs. Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets
While Key put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Chapelgate Christian Academy. The Obezags were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Yellowjackets. Considering the Obezags have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Wyatt Dowton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. Dowton was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. He has become a key player for Key: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-5 otherwise.
