Softball Recap: Harmony Takes a Loss

Harmony lost against Eau Gallie back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Longhorns came up short against the Commodores, falling 13-3. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harmony saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lindsay Green, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Emerson Aslan was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Harmony's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Eau Gallie, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harmony will take on Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Kowboys have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Eau Gallie, they will face off against Viera at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
