Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beecher). They blew past the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights 80-52 on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Buccaneers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Beecher's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Atherton the next time they take the court. Beecher will head out to face Atherton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Flint Southwestern Academy will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
