Basketball Game Preview: Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders vs. Ar-We-Va Rockets

Coon Rapids-Bayard has won five straight games at home, while Ar-We-Va has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders will host the Ar-We-Va Rockets at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Coon Rapids-Bayard beat Glidden-Ralston 59-46. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Wildcats are ranked 227th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ar-We-Va didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Woodbury Central on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 57-52 victory.

Ar-We-Va's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Coon Rapids-Bayard, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
