The team relied heavily on Clara Lyons, who fired off three home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 matchups. Another player making a difference was Jillian Bultmann, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Geneva kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 5-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Glenbard North's offense. They fell just short of Lake Park by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
