Nimitz and Eisenhower pushed the score to 41-21 the last time they played Eisenhower, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Cougars won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Eagles 7-6. The seven-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Nimitz has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points over those games. As for Eisenhower, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.
