Aedan Borges gave up the fewest hits he has since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. Nobody could stop him as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Case is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Borges and Case will be playing in front of their home fans against Seekonk at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals haven't beaten the Warriors recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2019.
