Football Game Preview: Newsome Wolves vs. Plant City Raiders + How To Watch

The Newsome Wolves will head out to face off against the Plant City Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Plant City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Newsome, who comes in off a win.

If Newsome beats Plant City with 35 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Wolves came out on top against Middleton by a score of 35-26 on Friday. The Wolves didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Plant City was just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 23-22 to Alonso.

Newsome will need to focus on slowing down Haven Pierce, one of several Plant City players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 102 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Newsome's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Plant City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.
