Maddie Huffman Game Report: vs Ashbrook

Kings Mountain found a leader in Maddie Huffman as the team took down Ashbrook on Tuesday. Huffman was dialed in as she scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She played a big game the last time she faced Ashbrook back in March, so the team probably should've seen her coming.

Huffman and Kings Mountain will head out on the road to face off against South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mountaineers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Raiders thanks in part to Huffman: she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched.
