With a playoff win on the line, Americas rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Chapin Huskies as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Trail Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Americas' tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Chapin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.

Americas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
