Softball Recap: Choctaw Central Triumphs

Choctaw Central's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Ethel Tigers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 26, 2024.

Choctaw Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Ethel has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Choctaw Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Lake Cormorant on the 8th. As for Ethel, they will host Eupora at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
