Basketball Game Preview: St. Francis Indians vs. Brewster Bulldogs

The St. Francis Indians will take on the Brewster Bulldogs on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Francis is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 62-31 loss at the hands of Quinter. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 151st).

Meanwhile, Brewster was beaten by Cheylin 78-31 on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Brewster, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Everything came up roses for St. Francis against Brewster when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 67-32 victory. Will St. Francis repeat their success, or does Brewster have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
