Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pleasant Plains walked away with it. They walked away with a 38-26 win over the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones on Thursday. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Cyclones are ranked 171st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
