Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Comes Up Short

Pueblo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flowing Wells Caballeros. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Caballeros when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Flowing Wells scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Pueblo's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Flowing Wells, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Coincidentally, Pueblo and Flowing Wells will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. Flowing Wells will head out to face Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Pueblo will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
