Basketball Recap: Tensas Comes Up Short

Tensas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Bastrop Rams and fell 94-44. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Panthers, who fell 67-64 when the teams last met back in December of 2019.

Bastrop's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antron Mason II led the charge by putting up 25 points. Another player making a difference was Lebron Deal, who posted 22 points.

Tensas' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bastrop, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Tensas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-41 defeat against Delhi on the 7th. Bastrop has also already played their next contest, an 87-21 win against General Trass on the 10th.
