Volleyball Recap: York Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

York had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Rita Mustangs.

Hunter Stepanich paced York's offense, picking up 13 kills. Stepanich got some help from Carson Cruver and his 27 assists. Tyler Asmussen and Jake Wede kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

York's record is now 16-4. As for St. Rita, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, York and St. Rita will both be playing Oswego East the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Dukes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
