Memorial Day extends road losing streak to four

Recap: Memorial Day Matadors vs. Twiggs Academy Trojans
The Memorial Day Matadors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 61-34 loss at the hands of Twiggs Academy. Memorial Day has not had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Memorial Day's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.0 points per game. As for Twiggs Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Memorial Day will head out on the road to challenge the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Coastal HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday. As for Twiggs Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Robert Toombs Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
