Soccer Recap: Denver South Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Denver South walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Smoky Hill Buffaloes 1-0. Rowan Mitchell had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Denver South.

Denver South's win bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Smoky Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Denver South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Northfield on the 4th. Smoky Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
