Ocean View Christian is 1-9 against Liberty Charter since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Ocean View Christian has given up an average of 12.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Ocean View Christian couldn't beat Bonsall on Tuesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Patriots came up short against the Legionnaires, falling 15-7.

Tori Worthington led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Della Sandoval, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.
Meanwhile, Liberty Charter waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Sharks 11-1. The game was the first time the Lions have beaten the Sharks on their field since April 18, 2019.
Liberty Charter got a massive performance out of Angie Carreon, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Layla Montgomery was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Liberty Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Liberty Charter's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Ocean View Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Ocean View Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .318. However, it's not like Liberty Charter struggles in that department as they've averaged .330. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
