After a string of four wins, Lynwood's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dominguez Dons by a score of 3-2. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dons earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Lynwood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Dominguez, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynwood is set to challenge their familiar foe Norwalk at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dominguez will take on rival Firebaugh at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
