Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Bridge to Independence

Cornerstone Charter Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down the Bridge to Independence Wildcats 61-46. This was payback for the Ducks, who suffered an 88-78 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kingston Infante was a one-man wrecking crew as he made all 9 shots he took racking up 22 points and eight boards. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Reyes, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Bridge to Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
