Everything went their way against the Moorestown Quakers on Thursday as they made off with a 13-5 win. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Jason Handfield looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three games.
On the hitting side, Cherokee got a massive performance out of Mason Kelleher, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Kelleher has posted over his last nine contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Barbagiovanni, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
