Baseball Recap: Mauldin Comes Up Short

After flying high against River Bluff last Thursday, Mauldin came back down to earth. The Mavericks fell 7-2 to the Boiling Springs Bulldogs on Thursday. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Mauldin's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-14. As for Boiling Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Mauldin nor Boiling Springs have any future games scheduled.
