Newman put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 88-71 win over the Phelps Lions.

Despite the loss, Phelps still got an impressive performance from Onyx Nnani, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. The matchup was Nnani's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Justin Houser, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

Newman's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Phelps, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Newman will challenge Cambridge at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Phelps, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-80 loss against Worcester Academy on the 8th.
