Arlington has gone 8-1-1 against Poly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Lions will take on the Bears at 5:30 p.m. Arlington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Arlington is headed into the match having not lost since December 30 and will look to keep things rolling. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Orange Vista on Friday. Given Arlington's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Orange Vista are ranked 600th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hugo Gomez and Oscar Navarro scored all three of Arlington's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, Poly didn't have quite enough to beat Moreno Valley on Friday and fell 2-1.

Arlington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven contests. As for Poly, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Arlington got the 'W' in their previous matchup on January 9th against Poly by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
