Soccer Recap: Spearfish Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Sturgis Brown

Spearfish faced Sturgis Brown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Scoopers, falling 4-0. Spearfish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sturgis Brown apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Spearfish dropped their record down to 1-8-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Sturgis Brown, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2-1.
