Baseball Recap: Carmichaels Comes Up Short

Carmichaels started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Greensburg Central Catholic. They fell just short of the Centurions by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mighty Mikes of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2015.

Jordan Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

Carmichaels' loss dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Carmichaels beat the Centurions by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
