Northeast got themselves on the board against Annapolis on Tuesday, but Annapolis never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Jenna Burroughs made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

In other batting news, Brynn Jones was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Burris, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Northeast pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Annapolis, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Northeast will be playing at home against South River at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seahawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Annapolis, they will take on Old Mill at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
