Baseball Recap: Karns City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mercer last Thursday, Karns City came back down to earth. The Gremlins came up short against the St. Marys Flying Dutch on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Gremlins were not able to get on the board.

Karns City's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for St. Marys, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Karns City will take on Freeport at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Marys, they will face off against Brookville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
