Softball Recap: Daleville Comes Up Short

Daleville and Ashford squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Daleville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 15-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warhawks in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost six in a row.

Daleville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Ashford, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Daleville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Dale County on the 29th. As for Ashford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Geneva on the 29th.
