Preview: Lafayette County vs. Foreman

After two weeks on the road, Foreman is heading back home. On Friday they take on Lafayette County at 7:00 PM. Foreman have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Lafayette County might have their hands full.

Foreman put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Dierks as the team secured a 46-0 victory. Senior Kyren Batey, who rushed for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Foreman's success. Batey has been a consistent playmaker for Foreman as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Lafayette County ultimately got the result it was hoping for. They were able to grind out a solid win over Spring Hill, winning 20-12. The win was a breath of fresh air for Lafayette County as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Their wins bumped Lafayette County to 1-4 and Foreman to 5-0. The Foreman defense got after the quarterback against Dierks to the tune of six sacks, so Lafayette County's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
