Softball Game Preview: St. Petersburg Catholic Barons vs. Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons

St. Petersburg Catholic is 1-9 against Saint Stephen's Episcopal since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The St. Petersburg Catholic Barons will face off against the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Petersburg Catholic is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 23-5 to Sarasota Christian.

The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for St. Petersburg Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
