Seeger had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights 31-13 on Friday. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 55-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lafayette Central Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Wyatt Williams, who picked up 71 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Joey Metzger was another key player, throwing for 96 yards and two TDs.

Looking ahead, Seeger will face off against Benton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they will square off against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
