Northside strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Shelby County Wildcats, posting a 49-17 win. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 35-28 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Shelby County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside will challenge Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Golden Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
