Volleyball Recap: Eunice Comes Up Short

If Eunice was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Jal last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Tatum Coyotes on Tuesday. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-17.

Eunice's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Tatum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eunice is set to challenge their familiar foe Loving at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tatum will square off against rival Texico at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
