Volleyball Recap: Ooltewah Comes Up Short

Ooltewah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2015.

Ooltewah's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Knoxville Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Ooltewah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cookeville on the 23rd. As for Knoxville Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Farragut on the 23rd.
