Basketball Recap: Trenton Trojans vs. Flat Rock Rams
It was a good run, but the Trenton Trojans unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell to Flat Rock 39-35. Trenton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Flat Rock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addi Kopp out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Lily Klein was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 13 rebounds.
Trenton's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Flat Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Trenton will be playing at home against the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flat Rock, they will head out on the road to square off against the Jets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Airport presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rams in Michigan (the Jets are ranked 99th, while the Rams are ranked 231st).
