Port Allen won the last time they faced White Castle and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Pelicans blew past the Bulldogs 23-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Pelicans.
 Taylor Saizon was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Saizon was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.
 In other batting news,  Marsha Shirley and  Sydney Davenport did most of the damage at the plate:  Shirley  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while  Davenport  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Shirley also put up a  home run, which was her first of the season.  Kacey Joseph was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Port Allen was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .542. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  games.
Port Allen's record is now 9-13. As for White Castle, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-9.
As of now, neither Port Allen nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
