Centaurus piles up the points against Smoky Hill

Recap: Centaurus Warriors vs. Smoky Hill Buffaloes
The Centaurus Warriors's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Smoky Hill 61-18 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-5.
Centaurus can attribute much of their success to Ingrid Lorton, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. Lorton is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Clara Halloran, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Centaurus' victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Smoky Hill, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Centaurus will face off against Palmer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Smoky Hill will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Mountain Range at 5:00 p.m. on December 7th. Hopefully Mountain Range focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday.
