Elk Valley Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Spencer Campbell, who dropped a triple-double on 29 points, 16 rebounds, and ten blocks. Campbell has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Hines, who went 14 of 21 on his way to 36 points.
Meanwhile, New Life Christian Academy strolled past Webster County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.
Elk Valley Christian better keep an eye on Jake Hamilton. He was instrumental in New Life Christian Academy's win, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Abraham Robinson, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 15 points along with seven boards and seven blocks.
New Life Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
