Soccer Recap: Gulf Shores Takes a Loss

Gulf Shores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Eufaula Tigers, falling 3-0.

Gulf Shores' loss dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for Eufaula, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-1.

Looking ahead, Gulf Shores will square off against Fairhope at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairhope's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Eufaula, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on April 1. Eufaula's defense better be ready for this one: Valley has averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
