Volleyball Recap: Soroco Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Soroco was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Park on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Soroco fell just short of Roaring Fork by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Soroco of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Soroco was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Roaring Fork work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20, 23-25, 14-25, 15-6.

Despite the loss, Soroco still got an impressive performance from Ceci Gregory, who had 15 digs and five aces. Gregory is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Adrian, who had 14 digs.

Soroco's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Roaring Fork, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Soroco will square off against North Park at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roaring Fork, they will face off against Olathe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
