Soccer Game Preview: Bayside vs. First Colonial

Bayside hasn't had much luck against First Colonial recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Marlins will challenge the Patriots at 5:15 p.m.

Bayside fell victim to Landstown and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Eagles. Bayside have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, First Colonial entered their tilt with Princess Anne on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for First Colonial, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Princess Anne with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kylie White (2), Kira Bonfiglio, Leah Bonfiglio, and Ava Bourne.

First Colonial's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Bayside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Bayside suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to First Colonial in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Marlins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
