Soccer Recap: China Spring Takes a Loss

If China Spring was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Mexia last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The China Spring Cougars fell just short of the Robinson Rockets by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

China Spring's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Robinson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Looking ahead, China Spring will challenge Connally at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lorena at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lorena will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Robinson surely won't give up without a fight.
