Softball Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short

Ripon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to the Waupun Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in April.

Ripon's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Waupun, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Ripon will be playing in front of their home fans against North Fond du Lac at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Orioles at the right time seeing as the Orioles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Waupun, they are taking a road trip to take on Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
