Basketball Recap: Fleming Wins Going Away Against William Byrd

Fleming won the last time they faced William Byrd and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fleming Colonels enjoyed a cozy 56-37 victory over the William Byrd Terriers.

Fleming is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for William Byrd, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Fleming will square off against Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Fleming likes a good challenge. William Byrd has already played their next contest, a 66-60 win against Christiansburg on the 29th.
