Soccer Recap: Cypress Bay Comes Up Short

Cypress Bay and Ferguson squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cypress Bay had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ferguson Falcons by a score of 1-0. The Lightning have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Cypress Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-3. As for Ferguson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 10-2-2 record this season.

Cypress Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ferguson, they will face off against Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbus will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ferguson surely won't give up without a fight.
