After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thompson, Hillcrest was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats a 1-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for Hillcrest: when they faced off against Tuscaloosa County back in February, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Hillcrest's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Tuscaloosa County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-5-1.
