Basketball Recap: Port Huron Comes Up Short

Port Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 52-39 to the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-35 back in January.

Port Huron's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Grosse Pointe South, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Huron will venture away from home to take on Bishop Foley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grosse Pointe South, they are taking a road trip to face off against Detroit Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
