River Falls entered their tilt with Pequot Lakes on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0.
Amelie Pankonin paced River Falls' offense, picking up 16 kills. Pankonin got some help from Allie Larsen and her 22 assists. Olivia Doerre and Adia Johnson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
River Falls' win bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Pequot Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
